RFSU PARTNER START UP CONFERENCE HELD IN ACCRA

The Swedish Association for Sexuality Education (RFSU) held a two-day partners start up conference at the Planned Parenthood Association of Ghana (PPAG) in Accra from 29th to 30th January, 2018.

The conference was aimed at sharing ideas with partners concerning the Civil Society Partnership Program and its context. It was also an opportunity for partners to identify and plan possible collaborations including an increased understanding of the guidelines. Partners present included Curious Minds, Youth Harvest Foundation Ghana (YHFG), Centre for Popular Education and Human Rights Ghana (CEPEHRG), and PPAG. Jonas Tillberg, the Coordinator of International Programs of RFSU encouraged partners to work together to achieve results for the new partnership which will run for 5 years.

RFSU is the leading organisation in Sweden in the field of sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR). RFSU sees openness on sexuality as the point of entry of health promotion and STIs and HIV/AIDS prevention. Rights to sexual and reproductive health services and sexuality education are key tools in the struggle for a healthier and more equitable society.
