In October, we commemorated International Lead Poisoning Prevention Week with various activities which climaxed with a colloquium that saw industry experts engaging students on the reality of lead poisoning in Ghana. Speakers from Pure Earth Ghana, UNICEF Ghana, and Ghana Health Service highlighted the health consequences of lead exposure in children, shared self-protection measures, and emphasized the need for early detection to ultimately save lives.
