My Data Our Health is a global campaign led by Transform Health that is being driven by community-based organizations that are engaging individuals on questions of access, control, and rights over their health data. The campaign is shifting health data from a technical issue to a personal one, by putting individuals in the driving seat and amplifying their stories. This is ultimately calling for a global framework that sets a minimum standard for governing health data across the world. In the last quarter of 2023, we rounded up the campaign activities as part of the pilot implementation in Ghana, and it notably included a meeting with representatives and members of the Parliamentary Committee on Health, a town hall dialogue with constituents of Wa East, a stakeholder meeting with Upper West regional directorate of Ghana Health Service, and an advocacy meeting with the National Development Planning Commission.
