ZERO DISCRIMINATION DAY
March 28, 2024INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY
March 28, 2024In the Upper West Region, Curious Minds Wa Chapter engaged in a vigorous membership mobilization drive to widen the organization’s reach and deepen its impact among the children and young people in the region. This led to the birth of a chapter group on the campus of the SD Dombo University of Business and Integrated Development Studies (UBIDS). The SDD-UBIDS Chapter Group becomes the third institutional chapter of Curious Minds (adding to UniMAC-GIJ and KNUST) and the first tertiary chapter group in the region. The Wa Chapter Club also continued its expansion drive in the pre-tertiary level, making fraternities with Wa Senior High School and Wa Senior High Technical School at the second cycle level as well as Fatima Farida Academy at the basic level and awaiting formal procedures to start in-school clubs. Following their engagement with Heritage Heavens Orphanage in Wa on the occasion of CM’s 27th anniversary, the Wa chapter club has advanced plans to begin a literacy club at the orphanage. In following the Curious Minds’ tradition of radio advocacy, the Wa Chapter Club joins the weekly editions of Gems of Our Time on Uniiq FM with the Accra Chapter Club in discussing pertinent matters related to the development of children and young people. The Club, on March 2, 2024, also joined the Tamale Chapter Club on Savanna Gems to discuss social inclusion for persons with HIV/AIDS in commemoration of the World Zero Discrimination Day. |

Aw, this was an incredibly good post. Taking the time and actual effort to
produce a superb article… but what can I say… I hesitate a whole lot and don’t seem to get nearly anything
done.
