Investing in women and girls to achieve Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 5 is a crucial aspect of the development agenda of every nation, and Ghana is no exception. To commemorate International Women’s Day 2024, Curious Minds hosted a webinar on the theme “Inspire Inclusion: Promoting Women’s Development through Gender-Responsive Financing.” The webinar had over 40 participants in attendance, empowered with knowledge on opportunities that support women’s development programs, gaps existing in gender responsive financing, barriers that continues to exclude women living with disabilities, and how intersectionality has played a role in resource allocation to women empowerment strategies. The webinar also highlighted platforms for effective advocacy, as well as CSOs’ roles in supporting government efforts to promote women’s development in all their diversity.
