School Outreach to Raise Awareness about Mental Health and Wellbeing
March 24, 2025Happy 29th Anniversary, Curious Minds of Ghana and the World🎉👏🏾
Monday 1st April 1996 has come a full circle. As we mark another milestone 29 years on, it is another Monday 1st April 2025!
Hurray!!! We are thankful to be witnesses of this day again, with nostalgic reminiscence or recall of that day at the Efua Sutherland Children’s Park. More than 200 children and young people in schools and communities heeded the call to take ACTION that will make a definite change in their lives.
With a little assistance you all began the journey of reshaping your own lives with the future in mind for the progress of fellow youth, in achieving human rights for All Children and Youth as established by the United Nations Charter on the Rights of the Child since 1989. Not only in Ghana but Africa and the whole world, using the broadcast media of Radio and Television.
How far have we come? How much have we achieved? How much more do we need to do? The answers to these questions are visible in the number of our members, pioneers and newbies, who continue to push the effort to reach all manner of successes. To date we have professionals of various job skills including medical practitioners, diplomats, scientists, politicians, and generally improved our educational aspirations and capabilities.
We know youth never stalls!
The human race will come to an end if there are no young people to carry on the aspirations, fulfill dreams and the desire to have a BETTER LIFE for all young people. Our young world today, as before, still faces injustice, discrimination, and rejection of all kinds. In fact, no change for a better life happens without the people affected holding the banners, placards, and these days, raising the issues on social media and other cyberspaces. The possibility of using AI (Artificial Intelligence) to rocket our cause is very real as well.

As we enter our third decade of existence, we have a lot to be grateful for! Our lives, shaped by all who nurture, assist, guide and support, us to achieve our aims. We also thank those who do not agree with our cause, because they are the catalyst or fire that keeps pushing us to figure out or find other ways of ACHIEVING OUR GOALS. For, we do know that nothing good comes easily. Nothing Happens for Nothing. It’s all about the kaleidoscope of constant changes in the world around us.
Our world today is in flux where there is a lot of shift on the ground we trod. That means we have to keep pace by being alert at all times in order to be proactive and to know how to react to the constant changes. The world is now more of a family clique than a sporadic group of people living at random and unknown places. So our dreams and aspirations continue unabated.
Children!!! Action!!! Children!!! Action!!! Action!!! Now!!!
Our special thanks go to our sponsors, UNICEF, PPAG, our Mothers, Women-In-Broadcasting (WIB) represented by Dr. Sarah Akrofi-Quacoo and our own extra ordinary and diligent Kingsley Obeng-Kyereh whose efforts are set in stone.
Thank you ALL
Enjoy and Cherish the Great Day.
