As part of ending harmful practices, six parliamentarians from different committees, including finance, gender and children, youth, sports and culture, health, employment, social welfare, and special budget, together with six youth advocates (beneficiaries of youth advocacy guide training) were engaged in a high-level advocacy meeting to sustain awareness and take effective actions. The zonal inter-gen dialogues colloquium outcomes informed the successful discussions of the issues and the parliamentarians’ commitment to pushing for policies and resources to eradicate the menace while urging young people to actively involve themselves in decision-making processes.
