Research and Advocacy for Women’s SRHR, Particularly Advocacy for Comprehensive Abortion Care in Ghana

The Swedish Association for Sexuality Education (RFSU), in partnership with CYIB- Curious Minds, implemented a five-year (2018-2023) project on the research and advocacy for Women's SRHR, particularly advocacy for comprehensive Abortion care in Ghana, specifically the central region. The project's objectives were to empower women, create an environment that values their autonomy and gives them the freedom to make decisions about their sexual and reproductive health, including access to safe and legal abortion services, through the interventions of capacity building, research, media advocacy, social mobilisation (community forums and outside broadcast), social media campaign, and podcast.
