Ghana SRHR Alliance FOR Young People (GUSO Programme) is made up of • Planned Parenthood Association of Ghana(PPAG), • Hope for Future Generations – HFFG, • NORSAAC, • Presbyterian Health Services – North (NPHS), • Curious Minds Ghana • Savana Signatures • Theatre for Social Change • Simli AiD The GUSO Programme is being implemented in the Northern Region (Tamale Metro, Sagnerigu District, East Mamprusi District and Gushegu District) and Upper East Region (Bolgatanga Municipal and Talensi. GUSO involves the delivering of Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE), Promoting Youth Friendly Services (YFS), developing functional partnerships with social justice institutions, Building linkages for referral systems and creating awareness for young people to seek quality services. The programme also seeks to build the capacities of information providers (teachers, peer educators, health care providers), social justice institutions’ staff to provide comprehensive services to young people and also to engage politicians and policy makers on enforcement of teaching CSE in schools and providing YFS in health facilities.
