| We are excited to announce that St. Paul’s Methodist School Complex in Tema Community 1 has established the first in-school club of the year. This club aims to recruit new members specifically for CM’s flagship radio program- Momlikoo on Obonu 96.5 MHz. Through weekly capacity-building meetings, we continue to enhance the knowledge of club members on the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child and other child rights related documents such as the Children’s Act 560, the Child and Family Welfare Policy, and Justice for Children Policy. The in-school club members have shown great enthusiasm during the capacity-building sessions, and we are hopeful that these discussions will enrich their participation in the radio programs in the coming weeks. We are grateful for support we have received from the headteacher and staff of St. Paul’s Methodist School Complex, and we look forward to expanding this initiative to other schools throughout the year. |
