PROJECT BRIEF
Funded by STAR-Ghana Foundation and the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office, The Girl Power Project 4 (2022-2023) built capacities of 30 selected young girls and women from four (4) communities, namely, Ampanyi, Agbakofe, Fievie-Dugame, and Komenda in the Central and Volta Regions on their sexual and reproductive health and rights, as well as gender-based violence. Activities embarked on during the project included capacity-building training, radio discussions, community outreaches, colloquia, social media campaigns, outside broadcast sessions, and stakeholder engagements. The project took place in the central and volta regions of Ghana. The project's impact included knowledge sharing of reproductive health rights, reaching about 11,000 people through the series of activities embarked on.

Funded by STAR-Ghana Foundation, and Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, The Girl Power Project 4 Change seeks to build the capacities of selected young girls and women on their Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights, as well Gender-Based Violence. Primarily targeting girls and women, the project will employ activities such as radio discussions, community outreaches, colloquia, social media campaigns, outside broadcast sessions, and stakeholder engagements for the young girls and women to regularly engage on issues of SRHR and GBV.
