PROJECT BRIEF
The Youth for Governance volunteerism project is a year-long project seeking to increase youth participation in the local governance system through volunteerism, mentorship and radio advocacy. The project is funded by STAR-Ghana Foundation and William and Flora Hewlett Foundation. The project areas are Jisonayili and Kperisi in the Northern & Upper West Regions.

Project Description
The Youth for Governance volunteerism project is a year-long project seeking to increase youth participation in the local governance system through volunteerism, mentorship and radio advocacy.
Goal
To empower young people, especially girls and persons with disabilities, to appreciate the need to be assertive and engage in democracy, leadership, advocacy, local governance participation, and accountability in the project districts.
